"I recently canceled both my home and auto policies with LaVonne Gorsuch Insurance Agency after one of the most stressful and heartbreaking experiences I’ve ever had with an insurance company.

For nearly a year, I fought to understand why my wind and hail roof claim was denied while my next-door neighbor’s roof — same age, same type of roof, same roofer — was approved. It never made sense, and honestly, it still doesn’t.

I wasn’t asking for special treatment. I was asking for support, guidance, compassion, and fairness. Instead, I ended up paying for a brand-new roof out of pocket while continuing to battle confusion and frustration over a claim that never felt properly explained.

What made this even more upsetting was receiving an email after canceling my policies asking me to leave a 5-star Google review.

I truly hope no one else has to go through what I went through. Insurance is supposed to give you peace of mind during difficult times. In my experience, this process did the exact opposite."
